Remove the existing aerator and install the aerator provided with your Purosmart. The Purosmart aerator allows you to attach the Purosmart directly on the faucet.
Before attaching the Purosmart to the faucet install the flow restrictor tube assembly into the bottom port of the Purosmart. The flow restrictor allows pressure to build up inside the Purosmart vessel allowing the reverse osmosis process.
After installing the aerator and the flow restrictor place the Purosmart under the faucet and install pushing up gently until the quick connect fitting on top of the Purosmart securely engages into the aerator. To remove simply depress the outer white ring of the quick connect fitting and pull down.
Be sure to flush out your PuroSmart for 4 hours prior to use. Now you are ready to make great tasting reverse osmosis water. Turn on the cold water supply only (never use hot water) and allow the Purosmart to fill your container. The reverse osmosis process takes time because contaminants are separated from water through the membrane.
