Remove the existing aerator from the kitchen faucet and replace with the diverter valve assembly provided with your PuroSmart.
Mount the PuroSmart on the CounterTop Stand provided with your unit. Leaving the system in the sink, run cold water to flush out the PuroSmart before installing the flow restrictor assembly. Running water for a few seconds will help prepare the carbon filter and membrane.
Turn off the water and install the flow restrictor assembly. The flow restrictor elbow assembly is pushed into the connection on the top right side connection of the PuroSmart.
Be sure to flush out your PuroSmart for 4 hours prior to use. Now you are ready to make great tasting reverse osmosis water. Turn on the cold water supply only (never use hot water) and allow the Purosmart to fill your container. The reverse osmosis process takes time because contaminants are separated from water through the membrane.
